I upgraded from Win ME to XP (I know a source of grief, but
too late now) and my TEAC CD-W58E refuses to work. It is
suppose to be compatible, and TEAC says there are no
specific drivers needed. I tried a new cable and another
TEAC CD W58E ( I have access to another exact Cd burner)
and still the same thing. XP sees it out there and says it
is working properly, but When it goes to read a CD, all I
get is 0 bytes. The eject and other functions all seem to
work, it just won't read data. I removed the Adaptec Create
CD and Direct CD software that came with the original
system and still no luck. Any Ideas? Please! Thanks, Randy.
