Hello,
I am going through the process of restrucuting an NT 4 domain into a
Active Directory domain in my lab using ADMTv2. Part of the
proceedure is to change the TcpipClientSupport registry value to 1 in
order to migrate the SID History.

Unfortunately when I look in the registry under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA on my PDC &
BDC I do not see the TcpipClientSupport key to edit.

Could someone point this Newbie in the right direction. What do I
need to load on my PDC and BDC so that the TcpipClientSupport key
exists?

Sorry if this is stupid question. But any assistance is greatfully
appreciated.
Regards,
Z

This is no key but an entry. And you have to create the entry, because
it's not there. The type is REG_DWORD, the value is 1
Open REGEDIT, browse to the given key, change to the window on the
right, call the context menu and create this REG_DWORD.

Ciao, Walter
