when i try to connect my two computers on my network for
gaming, on the older xp of the two it says that the TCP/IP
is not enabled, and i canoot connect to the other pc.
However filesharing and printer sharing does work, someone
please help me, send me a reply by email-thank you.
 
plz check by double clicking network places-view network
connections or jsut got thrught contorl panel network
connections - then right click the LAN card in netwokr
places -click proerties-and check to see if tcp/ip is
there in the list of protocols- if it is - then goto to a
dos indow - start-run-cmd - then type ipconfig -what does
it show? if no -tcp/ip is showing in the list then - lcick
on the -install icon - then clcik protocol - then add
tcp/ip that way u may need the win xp install cd rom or
another way is to got - control panel-add/remove rpogrmas-
add windows compents-double clcik networking services -and
add tcp/ip that way
