Dear All,

I have here my network consist of 2 seperate locations at all , the first
one is our head office and it has 50 users in side it .

the second locations is farway from us and there is no any connection at all
between them, they are about 60 users .

each locations is working with this subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and the
IP-Address is 192.168.1.X .

all the 2 locations are under workgroup name it with ( GROUP1).
=====================================================

Now the situation is changed littile bit , we will have wireless and we will
coneect to them in the same subnet .

My question is , i do not know should i make each company to be separeat
subnet and connect between them using router , or there is no any Problems by
leaving it like that , all of them is under one subnet ?

But if i left them under one subnet , what about the broadcast, i will have
delay is that correct ?

2- why iam making 2 subnets, and connect between them by router , as long as
before router they will be able to see each other , and after router they
will be able to see each other as well , so why i am using 2 subnet , is that
because of Broadcast, if so, and if i made each company to work with its
subnet, do you think i will have seperate broadcast domain ?

Can any one please update and help me , as long as i am still new to it ?

We need more information to help. However, assuming you have VPN connecting both sites, the router doesn't will to send the packets if they are in the same Ip range. Event worst if tow computers are using the same IP for example, 192.168.1.1. Which one you will access to? 192.168.1.1 in location A or location B? So it is better to use two IP ranges like 192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x. good luck!

Thanks man for your Great Help ,

I want to ask you some questions regarding the Router & IP Addressing .

First, i am still confused for the IP-Addressing, its divided by 3 classes
as the following :-

1. Class A ( start from 1.X.X.X upto 126.X.X.X ).
2. Class B ( Start from 128.X.X.X upto 192.255.255.X)
3. Class C

so if i put any IP-Address in the Class A, Automatically the S/M will be
calss A, and for that the Router will understand that there is a 65365 Host
Per this subnet,

so my question is, if i change the IP-Address to Class c while its already
in class A, is there any Problem will happen to the Router .

For Example, ( 10.1.8.10 ) is class A, is there any Problem if i made it
like 10.1.8.10 / 24 ?

the short answer is just make they different IP range no matter which subnet.
