I'm setting up a modem and dial-up internet capability on a used-to-be
networked pc, running w2000. Everything worked fine until I tried to make a
new connection, then couldn't access TCP/IP setup because of lack of network
administrator permission. Logged off then back on as administrator, still
same result. No access to person who administrated network where pc came
from, anyone know how to gain full administrator access to this computer
short of re-format and starting over? Any suggestions appreciated.
