TCP/IP Network transport

After installing a firewall my computer gives the error
message ' The TCP/IP network is not installed' as a
mobile device properties message. Any idea what I need
to do to get it back? i have tried to walk through it
with XP and it hasn't worked. I am lost.

Is that the EXACT error message?
If not please post back with the exact error message wording.
Also, does the error come up when you boot up and then go
away after you click OK or does it keep popping up?
By any chance is this a McAffee firewall?
Is the firewall still installed?
Is this a Cable Modem, DSL or Dial-Up type of Internet connection?
Are your Internet connection and Internet browsing still working?
