Every time I login I get the error message "TCP IP
network transfer not installed". I tried restoring,
reinstalling xp and the command prompt TCP IP reset and
still nothing worked. I'm not able to connect to the
internet...I called my ISP and Dell and neither could
help. What can I do to fix this?

Thank in advance

Is that the complete and whole of the error? If it is,
that sounds like a 3rd party message and so could be
beridden of by using msconfig.

If there is more to the error then it might be a windows
problem.. but i'd have to get the exact verbage/spelling
of the error.

That is the extent of the error. The window name is Mobile
Devices Properties. The message inside the window is TCP
IP network transfer not installed.

Well, if you've already tried doing a restore (which
theoretically takes your system back to how it was when
Dell shipped it) and you've tried other clean installs and
it still doesn't work, then I think its somewhat safe to
rule out software corruption.

If i was in that situation, i might buy/borrow a cheapy
network card and throw it in to see if some new hardware
will solve the problem.
