After being stung several times with the MSBlast virus
I've tried several methods to block it. all in vain. :o(
Using the advice on seting up TCP/IP filtering on Win2KPro
when I click the options tab there dosn't seem to be any
Enable TCP/IP Filtering (all adapters) check box ???
I have the latest service pack 4 installed along with
Norton personal firewall (in which I have set up a block
on port 135 attempting to access svchoste.exe) but I am
still getting the security alert popup for the same. Any
assistance with fixing these problems whould be most
appreciated.... thanks

I am not sure I understand. If Norton is configured properly, then
it should block inbound attempts to your computer. If you are tired of
seeing the pop ups, then disable the notification of them in Norton
properties. However if your computer is trying to access the internet going
outbound on port 135, then you probably have the virus and should take steps
to eliminate it. --- Steve
