Unable to initialize a Network interface attached to the
system
I've used this VPN connection for years....now after a
fresh reload of win2k, above is the error I get when
attempting to VPN.
Have worked this issue off and on for quite some time now,
the VPN server logs states connection made, protocols and
security successful, user requested disconnect after 1
second connection.
MS has documentation for NT 4 with this issue caused by a
duplicate NIC entery in the register, not the problem in
this case. Confirmed ISP allows tunneling with PPP and
other standard protocols. I am able to ping the specific
servers so connectivity not an issue.
Any ideas?
