TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by server

I keep getting this error when I browse my newsgroups. The response is slow
and a lot of message claim they are no longer on the server, but if I click
them again, they appear.

Anything I can do to improve my newsreader performance?
 
have the same problems with RR the past week or so.
what I do is click on the SERVER name and then click back on the news group.

might be an LOAD problem with servers and all the computers that were received for Christmas.
some ISP's farm out news service and do not pay enough for the number of slots that are needed so they run up short and someone has to be left out.
