A Client of mine is having the same problem since upgrading to Outlook 2003.
Task '(email account) - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact
your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' The server
responded: +OK 18286 octets'
They are running XP SP 2 with Outlook 2003 SP1 and Norton AV 2004. I made
sure the OS, Outlook and Norton was up to date.
I have increased the time out and still problem exists.
I had the client disable the mail scan feature in Norton 2004 and is now
working. This is a temporary fix as I have not found anything from Symantec
yet to resolve this problem to allow the mail scan.
Any input?
