Had to connect briefly to the net with firewall down. Since then have
noticed an open connection on my machine on udp 4500 which I can't remember
seeing before.

Its used by sae-urn, whatever that is.

Can anyone explain what sae-urn is or what other uses of 4500 there are?

TIA

Not that I know of.

I installed a load of MS patches the other day and seem to remember that one
of them was a NAT fix. What service do I need to turn off to stop NAT?

Also;

Can I turn off the following services Ok (I have a single home PC):-

Computer Browser
Distributed Link Tracking Client
Remote Registry Service
Server (lanmanserver)
TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper Service

Thanks

The NAT fix for L2TP is unrelated.
