Hello everybody,
Im trying Vista RC1, all works fine, but I cannot switch to the external
screen with the button. Does anybody know how to switch between the internal
LCD and any external screen? To use the external screen by expanding the
desktop will work, but I dont like to use this.
Thanks in advance, Eugen,

Get a newer build..or wait for the final. RC1 is old

Download and install QMenu from the HP Site in the TC1100 drivers section
and run it in Vista using XP SP2 compatibility mode. From QMenu you can
select between Internal, External or combination Internal and External
display modes. This will allow you to switch between displays but if you
are using a docking station, be prepared to re-set the display mode every
time you dock or undock. This is not a Vista limitation but rather a
Vista - Qmenu compatibility issue. Hard to say if HP will upgrade Qmenu
to work with Vista since the TC1100 is no longer being made.

I would rate my experience with Vista RC1 and 2 on the TC1100 as fair. No
Aero compatibility as the graphics display is only 32 MB and Qmenu works
- well sort of. I like the inking in Vista but seemed to have constant
problems running Outlook 2007 B2TR. Today the option for me to
turn on and off wireless networking from within Qmenu suddenly
disappeared. While Vista runs on the TC1100 my experience has not been
great and I am unlikely to stick with it. Who knows, if HP upgrades
TC1100 drivers and software to work with Vista that could change.
