tasks lockup.

Some tasks lock up and cannot be closed by clicking the
(X).It has to be closed with Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up
the Task Manager,highlight the task then click end
task.Can you help.
There are no Adware,spyware,parasites or viruses of any
kind.

I have XP Home 2.4 gig Celetron .IE6. OLE6.512ram

.Well John you name it and that is the site.Mostly when
changing from one page to another it will lock up when
trying to Close.

for me to understand the exact problem.

It's quite possible that your computer requires some
maintenence...Disk Cleanup, ErrorChecking and Defrag.

Ive done all the checks and things that you have
suggested ,updates are up to date so are drivers.
as for things that have been installed or uninstalled ,I
cant say .This has been going for a long time now.Instead
of things I've got, do you think it could be something I
havrnt got 'dlls' or such.
