Taskpane?

Ok, newbie question here. It was only a few days ago that I even found out that my computer had any kind of film editing program. I wanted to mess around with it but I can't find the transitions or titles. Everything says "on the taskpane" and on the video helper it shows someone doing something over to the left. I can't seem to find these. Can anyone help me out? Thanks for your time.

You might be using version 1, which didn't have transitions or titles....
see the Setup > Software page of www.papajohn.org for some useful links and
info, including the download of version 2.
