Taskpad permissions

I am trying to set up a taskpad for end users to be able
to add/delete contacts. What permissions do I need to set
so that they can also change/add an SMTP email address
for the contacts that they create?
Also, is there a setting that can be set to only allow
them to create distribution lists and not security groups
(i.e. disable the security button)?
thanks,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,

There is no way for us to just assign the "change/add an SMTP email
address" permission to end users. After you add the AD users and computers
in MMC, you can save it as "User Mode, limited access" and then set the
NTFS permission for this taskpad. However, the end users who can use this
taskpad would have other permissions except "change/add an SMTP email
address".

As for "disable security groups", I don¡¯t think there is a safe method to
do this. Considering the network security, these operations are also not
recommended since they should only be strictly controlled by Admins.
