Is there a way to reorganize the order of the programs on the taskbar? I
get a lot of apps running from time to time. It would be nice if you could
just drag an item from one position to another in the taskbar. I can't find
out how to do that. Thanks.

Just put the cursor on the icon, hold down the left mouse button and drag it
where you want.

Misunderstood. Thought you meant the "icons" on the taskbar.

Not sure what you mean but thanks for your reply. I'm talking about the
currently running apps displayed in the task bar. The rectangular display
of apps (word, excel, outlook, windows media, etc) which you can click on
the taskbar and bring them up. I tend to have many apps going at the same
time and I'd like to be able to re-order the display of these apps in the
task bar. For example to keep those I'm most interested in displayed on the
first row. Simply trying to drag them around doesn't seem to work. Or does
it? Is there a way to do this that I'm not seeing?
