Taskbar - show all icons?

I want the XP Home taskbar to show all minimized program icons, no
matter how small the icons need to be in order to display all of them.
It used to do this, but now it has an up-down arrow at the right to
display more icons. How do I get back to the old behavior, without
the up-down arrow?

Right click the taskbar and choose Prperties. Uncheck the option to Group
similar taskbar buttons.

It's already unchecked, dunno why all of a sudden it doesn't seem to
be working...

Right click the taskbar and uncheck "Lock the taskbar" and manually
move ur icons to the free space or drag and drop the piece of taskbar.
Or drag the main taskbar to the top direction one more line.

Thanks. Still not quite sure why its behavior is different than
before. It used to be that when I opened new programs, the icons on
the taskbar would simply get smaller, to accommodate the new icons.
Now that doesn't seem to be happening, instead I get the up-down
arrow.
