Taskbar Notifications

Can I turn off the notification ballons that come up from the taskbar for: "1
sheet sent to the printer", "Wireless network not avalible"? These are
annoying and require acknowledgement to get rid of. Heck I know I told the
computer to print something and am out of my routers range.
