taskbar location

SOmehow my girlfriend managed to move the taskbar to be
verticle on the right side of the screen. It's driving
me nuts! How do I put it back along the bottom?

Put mouse pointer in blank area of task bar(but NOT in quick launch
bar) and drag it down to bottom.

Right click in it and select "Lock the Task bar" to stop her doing it
again!!!
 
Andy,

Right-click the taskbar and uncheck "Lock the taskbar". Now, try to drag it to the bottom. do not drag it by clicking the taskbar edges (when the double-headed arrow appears). Click on the middle empty area on the taskbar and drag it towards the bottom.
