taskbar issue

I'm sure it's something simple but my minimized windows on the taskbar don't
show. I can't click on the taskbar because the windows i've minimized are not
showing at all. i have to alt/tab just to get to them. How do i correct this?

never mind, I should of searched before i asked but found the solution in
this forum
