Taskbar icons

Can anyone tell me how to add the Epson Printer icon to
my taskbar? It appears briefly when you print something
but immediately disappears before printing is completed.
I would like to know what I can do to keep it there.

And you want to keep it there because? The icon appears while printing to
show the status of the current and/or pending print jobs, there is no
purpose for it at other times.

John make a shortcut to your printer and drag the shortcut to the
Quick Launch tool bar. The Quick Launch tool bar is next to the
Start tab.

Open Settings/Printers and right click on your printer icon to
get a menu. Select create a shortcut and one will be made to
your desktop. Drag that shortcut to the Quick Launch toolbar.

I have two printers connected to my computer and find that these
shortcuts are used many times during the day.
