That's basically it...sometimes all the icons for all
procs that open with startup are visible on the taskbar.
Other times, only one or two show an icon. If I open the
task manager...all procs are there. But how do I access
one if there's no icon? Restart or cold boot doesn't
effect it. Any ideas how to fix this or how to live with
it???

Hi Suze,

Sometimes this may be caused by software conflicts during the install (
Boot ). One cure is to use a start manager which will help prevent the
conflicts and allow you to control the start order. Try Start Right:

Task bar? or the little "notification area" (more popularly known as the
"tray") on the right? If it's the tray area, there is an option to "hide
inactive icons" on the task bar properties (R Click task bar, select
Properties), make sure the "Hide inactive icons" checkbox is unchecked. If
that's not it, I'm of no further help...
