taskbar flash

When a taskbar button flashes it always interupts me...
like when i am on AIM it interupts a program i run. Is
there a way to turn the flash off? Thanks
 
I don't know any way to access the settings just through
windows, but oyu can download a handy application that
also allows you to tweak other 'hidden setings' in
windows. This application is called 'Fresh UI', and can
be downloaded at www.freshdevices.com for free. Once in
the application it is under <Windows Interface, <Taskbar
options, and then <Flashing taskbar options.

i tried the FreshUI and the taskbar still flashes
