taskbar disappered

Whenever I get into winXP, it doesnt show me the taskbar
including the "start" button...what should i do to get it
back?

Mudassir,

I would bet that you shrunk the taskbar to 0 lines.

First, try Ctrl-Esc. Does it pop up then?

Move your mouse pointer to the edge of the screen. It should change
into a double headed arrow. When it does, left click on the mouse and
drag the top edge of the taskbar up 1 or 2 lines.
