I was browsing through "Programs" on my start menu and I accidentally pressed
a key, causing my taskbar to disappear. The windows help advised
right-clicking on the taskbar, but unfortunately there is nothing to
right-click ON. Even when I scroll in the area where the taskbar used to be,
nothing comes up when I right-click.

Any suggestions? thanks

Move the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen until you see it change to
a double-arrow (which means you are on the edge of the taskbar). Then drag
up the edge of the taskbar. If you dragged it to some other edge of the
screen, just do the same at whichever edge is the taskbar. Unless you
screwed up the size of your screen using sizing controls so that the edges
are outside the paintable area of the screen, you should see a gray bar at
the edge.
