My Taskbar clock is missing I have tried to right click taskbar to restore
the clock but the tickbox is greyed out and therefore connot insert tick.I
have also tried system restore to no avail.Any suggestions would be welcome

If you are unable to check mark on "Show Clock" from Taskbar - Properties
then try this:

1. Click Start - Run
2. Type GPEDIT.MSC and press enter
3. Expand to User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Start Menu &
Taskbar
4. set the setting to Disable - "Remove clock from Notification Area"

If you not able to change these settings as well then it could be because of
limited access to the settings you are working in.

Right click on the taskbar, select properties. On the Taskbar tab, see if
Show the Clock if check. Check it an click OK.
