Taskbar Auto-hide

For some reason my taskbar will not auto-hide anymore. I
have tried turning on and off the function and it will
only stay visible. Does anyone know how this could have
happened?

Rightclick taskbar/click properties and check "Auto-Hide

taskbar. Then click Apply and then OK. If you just
clicked OK it is not saved, you have to click Apply first.
 
Could you tell me what toolbars you have on your taskbar, and what programs
are currently running?
