Nice, but ...

I would still 'fix' these two named servers as they should not really be there ... unless you DO KNOW who they are.

Now ... get rid of Norton crap and that Prevx1 was a wast of space too ...

;)

Thanks :) So any recommendations aside from Norton, seeing how it's so bad? I always thought it was highly rated!

Nope its cr*p, in recent tests it fared worse than even some free ones, and as you will see from others here suffering from similar problems, they all have one thing in common - they had Norton installed :eek:

Install Kaspersky or use a free one like AntiVir :thumb:

It was the best thing since sliced bread ... in 1995 ... and I for one was a staunch advocate of Norton. Sorry to say but it has gone downhill with a vengence.

AntiVir is free, & will do a better job with less overhead ... the 'best' paid for AV is, IMHO, KAV

Trouble is, non of these AVs will do all the jobs required all of the time, so you still need some help from our friends.

Friends list;
FIREWALL ... at least use XPs own, but a dam good Router & Software FW is your first line of defence.
SpywareBlaster
SBS&D and or AdAware
MS Windows Defender ... don't laugh, it is really good.
Some AV program of some sorts

... and CCleaner to help rid left-over junk.
