I can't get my XP to run the Disk Defragmenter - it says
it doesn't have the correct password or user account.
The other tasks all run as scheduled. I don't use a
password, as I don't want to bother with it every time I
use the computer. I've tried right clicking on the task,
and telling it to run, but it doesn't.

You would need valid password with the account to schedule a task. If you
don't wish
to have a password, you can try this but note that this would make your
computer less secure.

Other alternative is to create a different user with password and use that
account to
schedule your task.
