Task Scheduler issue after install of AD

After installing AD, one of the tasks I had scheduled would not run until I
recreated it, however the other 6 I scheduled worked without a problem.

Not a big deal, but I am curious about why it happened.

I would guess that the task that would not work needed
Domain rights and since the account you created it with
were local you had to recreate the task while logged on
with a domain account. The other tasks must not have
needed domain access.

From your listing I get that you are running these tasks
on a server and then ran DCPROMO to make that server a
DC. You probably created the original tasks with a local
admin account, which now does not exist so it has no
permission on that server, i.e. cannot edit the registry
or access many of the NTFS shares or directories.

That's what I figured at first, but after thinking about it I know I created
all the tasks at the same time using the domain admin account.

Beats me. Works ok now.
