I've been reading on here, and I've seen some resemblance
of problems to what I am having, although, everything
suggested for those issues, I have done on my computer,
but it still doesn't work. I encounter my problem when I
try to schedule a task and I get an error stating
that "the data area passed to a system call is too small"
or some such thing. Are there any suggestions? Task
Scheduler is not disabled. Thanks! I am using Windows
XP Home Edition.

Please post the complete wording of the message you are seeing, and describe
what you are doing on the computer immediately before the message appears.

I try to schedule a task for the disk clean utility. I
set it up for weekly, on Monday, at 1 p.m. and I get the
following. "An error has occurred while attempting to
set the task account information. The specific error
is : 0x8007007a: The data area passed to a system call
is too small". Every task that it shows I've tried to
schedule has never run. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
