Not possible as of now.

In Word and Excel you need to develop Smart Documents.

I would disagree with that statement. Wouldn't it be just a matter of
creating a table to hold the task-related fields and create form to
display them? For that matter, since Access VBA can snoop* around
Outlook, couldn't Access import a person's task items into an Access
table for manipulation?
