Task Manager

I have a number of systems that have started with the same problem:-
task manager does not start after "3 finger salute"
I have tried to repair operating system with no luck


Please help if you can

Does it not work at all, or does it start up and then close itself
immediately?

Try using Start - Run - TASKMGR.EXE and see what happens.

Also try Start - Run - REGEDIT and see what that does.

If neither of these work then there is a pretty good chance that your
computer has been infested with one of the several different
spyware/trojan items that block these two programs from running; and
therefore you need to take steps to disenfect it.
