The Users Tab of Task Manager on each of my networked PCs only shows the
users logged onto that particular machine; i.e., it does not show the
users logged onto the LAN. Is it possible to make Task Manager
recognized LAN users and, if so, how? I am interested in using the
*send message* feature of Task Manager. I know I could use *net send*,
but I would rather use something GUI and not add something 3rd party.

Thanks for your help,
Rich

No that is not a supported or available feature.

You can do a "Net view /domain:<foo>" to see available workstations on the
network.

You can try to do a "nbtstat -a <foo>" to see if it will show you the actual
user name of the logged on use (this used to be supported in older versions
of Windows)

at that point you can try to send a user targetted "Net send .."

If your in a domain these steps, while still valid, may not be successful if
your admin locks down PCs or the machine is marked as "HIDDEN" ...
