Task manager/Regedit/Msconfig closes itself after 1 sec.

Can anyone tell me why these utilities will not stay open?
When enabling them from the "Run" command, they will pop
up for 1 second or less, then close itself automatically.

Dell support states that this is a result of a conflict
with an application (surprise, surprise). One more thing:
No, I am not using a MS Natural keyboard that is causing a
issue.

Any help would be great.

Go to housecall.antivirus.com and run the free online scan
of your HDD.

It should find something called xtbdmwamu or something
weird like that. If you get rid of that you should be
able to open your utilities.
