Task Manager Not Showing

For some reason when I hit ctrl alt delete I am not
seeing the task manager, instead I see a single pane
showing only the processes that are running and there
isn't even a close gadget. Any ideas on how I can get
back to normal?

Just double click on the side or boreders to get your task manager back to
normal.

It has been toggled into Compact View. Double click in the broad border
to switch back
