Task Manager - Not a disabled question!!!

When I bring up task manager, the green utilization icon does not
consistantly appear in the task bar area. Mayby once in 10 times. No rhyme or
reason that I can tell. Is there a cure?

I wish I knew of one. I have the same problem and gave up on Task Manager
and switched to the freeware Process Explorer:
