Recently My brother and I had Built A Computer with XP w/sp2. Everything
works fine except for i cannot access the task manager. It Gives Me this
messsage "Task manager has been disabled by the administator." After
searching on the internet for some answers i found out about "Group
policy." i found steps to install it, but it isn't on my computer. I've
been searching for this snap-in For hours on the internet.
Is there a reliable source in which i can Download it? Or is there some
other way to re-enable Task Manager?

Thanks for your help!

If you have XP Home, you do not have Group Policy (gpedit.msc) it only comes
with Pro.

You do not necessarily need gpedit.msc to fix the problem.

One of these has a solution for you...

Error Message: "Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator"
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Taskmanager_error.htm

Enable/Disable Task Manager
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_taskmgrenab.htm

If you do have Pro, type: gpedit.msc in the Start | Run box and click
OK.
