I have Task Manager's options set exactly like on my Win 2K WS machine, but
when I minimize it instead of putting the little green icon/box in my
services portion of the task bar, it goes away completely. What am I doing
wrong? I like having it on the taskbar like that so I can glance to see why
the computer may have 'gone away'. What setting do I need to adjust?

Thank you.

Wow. A little green box in the system tray can do that for
you? I like to learn that one. When I right click the task
bar and then click task manager and then click the - it is
reduced to the taskbar and puts the little green square in
the system tray which allows me to see activity but that's
all. Unless of course you have the system tray set to
about half or more of your screen size. Keep smiling

Make sure that the "Hide Inactive Icons" checkbox is NOT checked .
(Start - Settings - Taskbar). Or if you want to hide some icons,
click on "Customize)to edit the list so TaskMan always shows.
