Heres how to bring Task Manager back, either manually navigate to these
area's using regedit and change the dword value from 1 to 0 or download the
regfix below to automatically fix the entries:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Group Policy
Objects\LocalUser\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system]
This is the way it will look on yours :
"DisableTaskMgr"=dword:00000001
This is the way it should be to enable task manager:
"DisableTaskMgr"=dword:00000000
so all you do is right click each DisableTaskMgr entry and choose modify
then chage it from 1 to 0 and press OK

Download this file and save it to your desktop :
http://andymanchesta.com/RegFix/TaskManager.reg
double click TaskManager.reg and allow it to be merged into the registry
then try task manager again, If you want to view the contents of the regfix
right click the file and choose to open with notepad.
Its also worth running at least one online virus scan to make sure the
system is clean.
