Task List Won't Update - 2003

Good Morning,

I upgraded to Outlook 2003 recently, on a workstation that is running WinXP.
I have an Exchange 2000 server in this environment.

I'm running outlook in cached Exchange mode. We have a task list in the
public folders.
Why is it that when I make a change to, lets say a due date, or mark an item
complete, it does NOT update the task list. The task list is ACTIVE TASKS.
It should only show active tasks.
When I mark an item complete, it does not remove it from the list or take it
from the view. When I see it in the list it still doesn't show my changes.
But when I open the item, it shows the changes.
Does anyone know why the actual task list is not being updated? But the
actual item, when I open it shows the changes.

Please advise.

I am view the public folder and it doesn't show the change in the list. But
when I open the item, it shows the change. I've reset the computer and reset
but still the list does not show the changes.
If I go to another PC, they don't see any changes, even when they open the
item.
It's as if it isn't actually updating the public folder, it just updates the
cached copy on my PC.
How do I get the tasks to update in cached Exchange server mode?
Can I not use this mode while running Exchange Server 2000?
I hope I can because I really need the spam filter that works really great.

Are you viewing the public folder and changes don't show in the view? or are
you looking at the list from something like Outlook today?
