How do I get the new mail notification to appear on the task bar in vista.
used to have it in xp. help would be appreciated

And your Yahoo is it paid for or the free one..???
If it is the free one then you can't use either Outlook or WLM to open it and will need to be using your web browser..In that case you won't get any Task bar notification...
If you are using YAhoo mail plus through either Outlook or WLM, then which ever you are using needs to be open first for the notification to appear in the task bar...There are no settings to change, the display is automatic...
