task bar

My task bar keeps dissappearing making it difficult to get to any of the
programs.I keep having to reboot to make it visible again. Can any one help
me with this. Also my wireless broadband is asking me to sign all the time.
I did'nt have to to this with XP.I used to be online as soon as I turned my
computer on.Any suggestions anyone.

Have you perhaps enable the auto hide function of the taskbar?

Right mouse on the task bar (when it does appear)
click properties
click taskbar
untick auto hide task bar
