task bar problems

For the past few weeks, my task bar and start menu would just start on it's own and act like it's possessed for a few seconds. The mouse cursor won't move on it's own sometimes and would jump to a different spot.

Any suggestions?

Check the mouse - remove and clean the ball (read cleaning
instructions), blow dust out, replace batteries (if wireless).

Have you loaded any software recently?

Check for spyware. Use HijackThis, Spybot S&D, and expert advice at
