Task bar items the same with diff logins

I asked the question recently about have the shortcuts on the Desktop appear
the same when you use different logins for the same computer. How do you get
the taskbar items to have the shortcuts. Where do I make the necessary
changes.

What I want to be able to do is have my desktop or clients desktop have the
same view no matter how they login at the same computer.

Also I want to be able to have the same applications on the desktop no
matter who logins. For example eveyoone uses MS Word.

Thanks

Hi,

You mention, Desktop and Taskbar within the same breath. They are totally
different. As for your reference to the taskbar, one would need to assume
that you either mean the Quick Lauch or the Notification Area.

In the meantime.....

I went to the profiles for my users on my computer and there is no file
associated with the user. If I have modified the quick launch by adding
shortcuts won't there be a profile that has been changed. I even searched
for "UserProfileMyLoginName" but I could not find one.

I am interested in learning more. Please provide some additional places to
look or more information. I now want to create roaming profiles for the
small business that I am helping.

Thank you.

I looked over this information but as I mentioned I can not change the option
to go roaming in the user profiles.

Do I have to create a new profile for this to work. Plus the insturction do
not appear to be for XP Pro.

thanks
