Task Bar Customizing

Right now my task bar says the time in a rather large
font. If I hover the mouse over the time, the date shows
up too. Is there a way to have the date and time
permanent on the task bar? Thanks. Jeff J

If you do not want to use third-party tools for this you have to
enlarge the Taskbar to two rows or more to have both infos displayed
at the same time.
 
There is no native way to show both time and date except, you can unlock the
TB and stretch it up to three lines. This would use up a lot of desktop
real-estate so, you could set the TB to auto-hide. Alternately, do a Google
search for 3rd party app's that will put it on the desktop.
