Is there anyway to have the Date and time on the taskbar
instead of just the time or hovering the mouse over it?
Thanks. Jeff J.

Unlock the taskbar by right clicking it. Then stretch it
wider (up). Looks odd, but thats the only way.

You people are all on crack. :-p

Just dock the toolbar vertically on either side of the monitor. Both the
time and date will be shown.

I think you misunderstood my question: how are you equating "3 horizontal
lines" when the taskbar is docked vertically? Any number of "lines" doesn't
apply in this case.

Anyway, I'm being pedantic. :-p

Homer,

And here I was assuming, all this time, that the "p" in ":-p" meant "tongue-in-cheek".

Three lines are, three lines. It makes no difference if they are horizontal,
vertical, or diagonal. It's three lines.

BTW "Homer", do you even know what pedant means?

I'd call them columns, but maybe that's just me. Just saying the concept of
a line doesn't really apply in a vertical taskbar. IMNSHO. Besides, it's
not like MS terminology is the most straightforward thing to grasp...

Nitpicking, hair-splitting. Close enough for me. I was just pointing out
something no-one should care about. Quite frankly, this thread's gone long
enough on this.

Homer,

If you expect JAX to refer to vertical lines as columns, then perhaps you should refer to horizontal lines as rows.

I was certainly considering bringing up the point.
