Task Assignment Problem

Dear All

I am working with Outlook 2003, assigning tasks to users of Outlook XP. The recipient receives the task assignment,accepts it, I receive the email accepting, but the copy of the task in my Task list is not registering that the task was accepted, and as the person working on the tasks is writing progress updates in the notes window of the task, the task is not getting updated in my task list. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Do you have the following box checked? Tools | Options | Task Options,
"Keep updated copies of assigned tasks on my task list".
