Targus wireless mouse with laptop

Hello, I am attempting to install a PNP wireless USB mouse
to my HP laptop running 2k and it finds the native driver
but then gives me the following error.


An error occured during the installation of the device.

The installation failed because a function driver was not
specified for this device instance.

Any suggestions?

Just curious if you ever got this resolved...I'm having the same proble
and can't seem to find an answer (other than buying something else!)
